Governor Bago Reaffirms Dedication to Education, Donates 1,000 Classrooms, 120,000 Chairs, and More

The Niger State government, led by Governor Mohammed Umaru Bago, has renovated over 1,000 classrooms and supplied 120,000 chairs and tables to various schools across the state.
This information was shared in a statement released by the Governor’s Special Adviser on Digital Media and Communication, Abdulberqy Usman Ebbo, in Minna.
Ebbo also mentioned that more than 100 solar-powered boreholes have been installed to improve water access, along with several toilet facilities to prevent open defecation in schools.
He reaffirmed the state’s strong commitment to investing in education by creating a conducive learning environment and hiring qualified teachers.
The Special Adviser said he made these observations during his visit with his team to schools in both Zone A and Zone B.
According to Ebbo, the local government areas visited include Bosso, Edati, Gurara, Katcha, Lavun, Mokwa, Munya, Paikoro, and Shiroro.
He noted that the schools benefiting from these initiatives are JSS Birgi and DSS Shata in Bosso, GDSS Rokota and JSS Lenfa-Bororo in Edati,
JSS Boyarski in Gurara, GGCC Katcha, JSS Edotsu, and Gada Ereigi in Katcha, JSS Chari, GDSS Manbe, and JSS Kutigi in Lavun;
Other schools are DSS Muregi, Gbajibo, Muwo, JSS Tyabo, Dunmi, among others, from Mokwa, TPD Centre Minna, DSS Guni, and JSS Kuchi in Munya, GGSS Kafin Koro from Paikoro, as well as JSS Gunu, Mutun-Daya, DSS Kpakpma, Gurmana, and Pina in Shiroro Local Government Area of Niger State.
