Niger State NUT Tasks Teachers Under CPS to Urgently Register With Their Choice PFA
The Nigeria Union of Teachers (NUT), Niger State Wing, has urged teachers under the Contributory Pension Scheme, that they are required to immediately register with a licensed Pension Fund Administrator (PFA) of their choice and obtain a Retirement Savings Account (RSA) Personal Identification Number (PIN).
This is contained in a statement issued by the State Secretary of NUT Niger State Wing, Comrade Umaru Musa Kuta in Minna.
According to him, all affected teachers are advised to submit their PFA details, Including their RSA PIN and other required information, to the appropriate authortles through the designated channel without delay.
The Union has been informed that, in line with the directive of the relevant authorities, any teacher who fails to complete this registration and submit the required PFA details will not be captured for the payment of the July 2026 salary until the requirements have been fulfilled.
The Nigeria Union of Teachers however urges all affected members to treat this matter with the utmost urgency in order to avoid any disruption in the payment of their salaries and to ensure the proper administration of their pension contributions.
The Union reassured that the welfare of teachers remains its top priority, and encourage every affected member to act promptly.
