The Perm Sec Min. of Environment congratulates Gov-elect Hon.Umar Bago.
The Permanent Secretary, Niger state Ministry of Environment and Forestry, Mr Lucky Shekwo Barau has joined other well wishers to congratulate Governor Elect, Umar Mohammed Bago on his victory in the recent governorship poll.
The permanent secretary in an interview with journalists in Minna, said the victory of the APC governorship candidate was a testament that hardwork, dedication and commitment to one’s purpose and goals in life pays at the end.
He congratulated the governor elect, urging all and sundry to support him to deliver the greatest good to the people of Niger state.
Mr Lucky Barau said a new and shining chapter has been ushered in the state that will foster new narratives of development, equity, reconciliation, focused and exemplary leadership the state need for an accelerated paradigm shift.
He said “the energy and enthusiasm I see in the new leadership when inaugurated will pull the kind of force and opportunities needed for new and quick change. My hopes and prayers are with the governor elect that God will help him steer the state to greater heights”.
The permanent secretary equally congratulated all elected officials and commended the peaceful dispositions the people of the state exhibited during the elections.
