Niger State Government to Pay March Salaries Ahead of Sallah
The Niger State Government, under the leadership of His Excellency Mohammed Umaru Bago, has directed the prompt payment of March salaries to all civil servants across the state.
In a press statement issued by Obed Nana Nuhu, Honourable Commissioner of the Ministry of Information and Orientation, the measure, effective from March 19, 2026, aims to enable workers to prepare for and celebrate the upcoming Sallah festivities without financial hardship.
