Residents of Danu Village in Paikoro LGA, Niger State, experienced a mix of shock, fear, and joy when the missing boy reappeared.
Residents of Danu Village in Paikoro Local Government Area, Niger State, were today overwhelmed with shock, fear, and joy after discovering Salisu Sanda, a boy believed to have died over two years ago.
Salisu Sanda was reportedly found wandering helplessly in the bush nearby.
Speaking on the development, Garba Doma, the Sarkin Maganin of Paikoro Local Government, said that the boy had previously fallen ill and was taken to a herbalist in Tatiko Village, also in Paikoro, for treatment, where he was later presumed dead.
Doma noted that Salisu Sanda’s sudden reappearance has sparked concern and curiosity among residents, with hints that other missing or presumed dead persons might also be found in the bush.
Efforts are underway to locate such individuals and reunite them with their families.
Meanwhile, investigations continue to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident and how the boy survived for over two years after being declared dead.
