FELICITATION MESSAGE FROM HON. COMM. OF ENVIRONMENT AND CLIMATE CHANGE ON THE OCCASION OF 50TH GOLDEN JUBILEE ANNIVERSARY OF NIGER STATE.
On behalf of the Niger State Ministry of Environment and Climate Change, I wish to extend my heartfelt congratulations to our leader, the Governor of Niger State, Farmer Mohammed Umaru Bago and all Nigerlites on the momentous occasion of the 50th Anniversary of our beloved Niger State.
This milestone is a testament to our unity, resilience, and dedication to the growth and development of our dear state.
As the Honourable Commissioner for Environment and Climate Change, I am filled with immense privilege to serve alongside seasoned technocrats and administrators in the Farmer Governor’s cabinet to work towards a sustainable and environmentally conscious Niger State.
To the resilient people of Niger State, I call for your unwavering support and active participation in our environmental initiatives. Your cooperation to our efforts to preserve and conserve our natural environment will be heartwarming and together, we can achieve significant milestones in areas such as afforestation, waste management, biodiversity conservation, ecological remediation and climate change mitigation.
On this special occasion, let us not only reflect on our past achievements but also reaffirm our commitment to building a cleaner, greener and more sustainable Niger State.
As we face the challenges posed by climate change and other environmental concerns, it is crucial that we continue to work together in implementing innovative solutions and promoting eco-friendly practices. let us also remember that the creation of Niger State was not just the birth of an administrative entity but the birth of a united and determined community striving for progress.
