Niger State Governor Commended for Supporting College of Health Minna Accreditation Efforts

Niger State Government, under the leadership of Governor Umaru Muhammad Bago, has received praise for its proactive initiative to support the reaccreditation of three courses by the regulatory bodies at Niger State College of Health Technology Minna. This move aims to enhance the institution’s competitiveness internally.
The Acting Provost of the college, Mrs. Zullaihat Muhammad Abdullahi, conveyed this during an interview in her office, highlighting the institution’s developmental strides and ongoing efforts to reposition the school for optimal performance aligned with international standards.
Mrs. Abdullahi emphasized the significant support from the government towards the accreditation of courses, which will enable graduates to be awarded National Diploma Certificates. She noted that the National Board for Technical Education (NABTE) has already visited the college for accreditation of three courses and expressed satisfaction with the certification process.
Optimistic about these developments, Mrs. Abdullahi stressed that both students and staff are committed to working diligently toward academic excellence. Regarding admission policies, she assured that mechanisms are in place to prevent fake admissions, with disciplinary actions and dismissals for offenders.
She called on all stakeholders in the health sector to support the college in achieving academic excellence that meets international standards.
The college also extends its prayers and support to Governor Umar Muhammad Bago in his tireless efforts to foster reform and development across Niger’s educational sector.
