Comrade Labaran Garba Extends Condolences on the Passing of Comrade Nuhu Aliyu
Comrade Labaran Garba mourns the loss of an esteemed colleague, Comrade Nuhu Aliyu, pioneer secretary of the Nigeria Union of Teachers, Niger state wing.
On behalf of myself and my family, I, Comrade Labaran Garba the Director General of Policy and Strategy at the Office of the Governor of Niger State, extend sincere condolences to the family of the late Nuhu Aliyu, as well as to the entire workforce of the Nigeria Union of Teachers, Niger State Wing, and the National NUT Head Office in Abuja.
Late Nuhu Aliyu passed away at his residence in Kaduna and will be buried today at 2:00pm in Kaduna.
Late Nuhu Aliyu Abdulmalik served as the first Niger State Secretary of the Nigeria Union of Teachers, holding office from 1979 to 1990 and again from 1992 to 1994.
He was a mentor to me and a distinguished veteran labor leader. A principled unionist and steadfast advocate for justice, he exemplified integrity and dedication.
May Almighty Allah grant his soul peace in Aljannah Firdaus, and may his family find strength to endure this profound loss.
