Hon. Ismail Madibo Condemns Kidnapping in Paleta Community, Calls for Urgent Action

Hon. Ismail Musa Modibbo, Member of the House of Representatives for Shiroro, Rafi, Munya Federal Constituency, has expressed his solidarity with the Paleta community in Shiroro Local Government Area of Niger State following the recent kidnapping of approximately twenty-four individuals, including four pregnant women.
In a statement released in Minna on Thursday, Hon. Madibo described the incident as tragic, heartbreaking, and unacceptable, particularly at a time when the state is heavily investing in security infrastructure and community protection.
He urged Government at all levels to respond promptly and decisively, emphasizing that swift deployment of security agencies and coordinated rescue operations would demonstrate a strong commitment to the safety of residents.
Madibo expressed optimism that, with combined efforts from security forces and the government’s resolve, the abducted persons would be rescued unharmed and reunited with their families soon.
He called on community members to support security efforts by providing useful information and to continue praying for the nation, stressing that overcoming insecurity requires collective vigilance, effort, and divine intervention.
“We must all unite with government, security agencies, traditional rulers, religious leaders, and citizens to end these troubling incidents. Through unity, genuine commitment, and prayer, Niger State will prevail over this challenge,” Hon. Madibo stated.
He pray and also appealed to religious leaders of two major faiths to intensify prayers for divine intervention and the quick return of the captives.
