St. Mary School: Children and teachers to be reunited with their families – Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda

Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda, Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has assured that the abducted children and teachers of St. Mary’s School in Papiri, Agwara Local Government Area, will be reunited with their families in the near future.
He articulated this commitment during a visit with the APC’s National Working Committee (NWC) to the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) in Niger State. He emphasized the party’s solidarity with the affected families, the Christian community, the government, and the residents of Niger State.
Earlier, the National Chairman met with Governor Mohammed Umaru Bago at the Government House in Minna.
He stated, “We are here to extend our sincere condolences regarding the recent kidnapping incident in the state. Our hearts and prayers are with those who have been impacted. We remain hopeful that these children will be safely reunited with their families soon.
Wherever they are, we trust that divine strength will sustain them. As we await their return, we pray for their rescue and safe recovery, trusting that the entire nation is united in prayer.”
While commending the leadership of CAN in the state, the APC National Chairman expressed confidence that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s initiatives are beginning to produce positive results. He further prayed for the swift and safe recovery of the abducted children.
He also expressed concern over the rising incidence of kidnapping across the country, particularly noting the increasing frequency of such occurrences.
In his response, Most Rev. Bulus Yohanna, CAN Chairman, represented by his vice, Rev. Ezekiel Ibrahim, praised the APC’s visit and assurances, noting that “prayers have been intensified during this period.”
