Prof. Muhammad Bashar Nuhu Extends Congratulations to Speaker Sarkindaji on Dokajin Borgu Title.

Prof. Muhammad Bashar Nuhu, Director of Finance at the North Central Development Commission (NCDC) and former Commissioner for Tertiary Education in Niger State, has formally congratulated Rt. Hon. Abdulmalik Sarkindaji, Speaker of the Niger State House of Assembly, on his recent elevation to the esteemed traditional title of Dokajin Borgu.
The title was bestowed upon Sarkindaji by the Emir of Borgu, Alhaji (Dr.) Mohammed Sani Haliru Dantoro, Kitoro IV, recognizing his significant contributions to the community and exemplary leadership.
In a statement delivered via his Special Assistant on Special Duties, Alhaji Yahuza Isah Erena, Prof. Nuhu characterized the recognition as a testament to Sarkindaji’s unwavering commitment to public service, humility, and dedication. He remarked, “This appointment is not only a well-deserved honor for the Speaker but also a reflection of his pivotal role in governance and community development in Niger State.”

Prof. Nuhu lauded the Emir of Borgu for conferring this prestigious title, noting that the Dokajin Borgu honor is traditionally awarded to individuals who exhibit exceptional integrity and service. He further stated, “The title signifies leadership, courage, and the safeguarding of community values, and it stands as a source of pride for all citizens of Niger State.”
In addition, Prof. Nuhu took the opportunity to congratulate the Emir of Borgu on his ten years of leadership, praising his visionary approach and relentless efforts aimed at advancing the socio-cultural and economic landscape of the Borgu Kingdom.
He acknowledged the significant progress made in community harmony, governance relations, and youth empowerment initiatives under the Emir’s stewardship, marking a decade of transformative leadership.
