Etsu Nupe Congratulates Governor Bago on Successful LG Polls
Etsu Nupe and Chairman of the Niger State Council of Traditional Rulers, Alhaji Yahaya Abubakar, has extended his heartfelt congratulations to Governor Mohammed Umaru Bago on the successful conduct of the recent Local Government Council elections in Niger State.
The Etsu Nupe conveyed his commendations during a courtesy visit to the Governor at the Government House in Minna, where he was accompanied by Kingmakers and other traditional titleholders from the Bida Emirate.
In his remarks, Alhaji Yahaya Abubakar characterized the local government elections as a demonstration of democratic values, describing the process as peaceful, fair, and credible.
He reiterated the Emirate’s unwavering support for Governor Bago’s administration and expressed his commitment to praying for the continued success of the government at all levels. The Etsu Nupe also commended the administration for its efforts in delivering essential services and dividends of democracy to the people.
