ADC Shiroro Chapter Suspends Assistant Publicity Secretary for Anti-Party Activities.

In a decisive action, the executive committee of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) in Shiroro Local Government has suspended Mohammed Auta from the party, effective immediately.
The announcement was made during a press conference held by the ADC Shiroro local government chairman, Hon. Tanko Galadima, who emphasized the seriousness of the allegations against Auta.
The suspension follows the receipt of a formal letter detailing accusations of anti-party activities, including the issuance of fraudulent party membership cards and extortion. Reports indicate that Auta engaged in these practices without registering the individuals involved in the official ward register.
Chairman Galadima stated that Auta’s conduct warranted an urgent meeting of the twenty-five chairmen of the ADC, all of whom expressed their support for the state chairman, Hassan Musa, and the decision to suspend Auta.
During the ward executive congress held on August 20, 2025, at the Gwada Secretariat, complaints regarding Auta’s behavior were deemed detrimental to both the ward and the party as a whole.
Allegations also included Auta misrepresenting himself as the current chairman of the party and falsely claiming to organize meetings, which reportedly led to division and conflict within the party ranks.
In a letter signed by the fifteen members of the Egwa ward executive, a formal request was made to the ADC state chairman to establish an investigative committee to look into Auta’s actions, which are claimed to violate the ADC’s constitution, particularly Article 22.
The ADC leadership remains committed to upholding the integrity of the party, reaffirming its dedication to fairness and transparency as it addresses the issues at hand.
