Governor Bago Commends Successful Pilgrim Airlift to Saudi Arabia

Farmer Governor Mohammed Umaru Bago commends the state Ministry of Transport, Pilgrims Welfare Board, and Officials of the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria, NAHCON, for ensuring the successful airlift of intending pilgrims from the State to Saudi Arabia.
In a statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Bologi Ibrahim, the farmer Governor observes that the stakeholders, including the intending Pilgrims, contributed significantly to their successful transportation to Saudi Arabia for their religious obligations.
The Governor says the successful airlift of the Pilgrims reflects the proper coordination, dedication, and commitment of the state government and other stakeholders to a smooth process.
Farmer Governor Umaru Bago further says that the early arrival of Niger State intending pilgrims in Saudi Arabia to perform the 2025 Hajj, which he maintains that it is a testament to the resilience and continued support of the people to his policies and programs, will also make their stay in the holy land memorable and fulfilling.
Farmer Umaru Bago also appreciates the State’s 2025 Amirul Hajj, the Emir of Kagara, Alh. Ahmad Garba Gunna, Security agencies, the medical team, the travel agency, and airline officials for working tirelessly to ensure the successful airlift of the intending pilgrims.
The farmer Governor says he is proud of the collective efforts of the stakeholders and assures that his administration will continue to ensure that relevant authorities continuously improve the pilgrimage process to guarantee success.
He reiterates his call on Nigerlites on pilgrimage to Saudi Arabia to be good ambassadors of the State and pray for the peace and prosperity of Niger State in particular and Nigeria as a whole.
Over 3,000 Intending pilgrims from the twenty-five local government areas of Niger State were airlifted to Saudi Arabia in seven batches from the Bola Ahmed Tinubu International Airport Minna.
