Niger State House of Assembly Gets New Clerk.
Following the approval by the Farmer Governor, Hon. Mohammed Umar Bago on the appointment of Mall. Farouq Umar Isah as the Substantive Clerk of the House, the Speaker, Rt. Hon. Abdulmalik Mohammad Sarkin-Daji, Leadership, and Members of the 10th Assembly earlier today confirmed the appointment of Mall. Farouq Umar Isah as the new Clerk of the House at its Executive Session.
These were disclosed by the Chairman of Niger State House of Assembly Service Commission, Hon. Abdullahi Mohammed Dzwafu during the official presentation of the appointment letter to the newly appointed Clerk of the House of Assembly in a brief ceremony held today at the Commission’s Conference Room.
The Chairman Congratulated the newly appointed Clerk of the House adding that the Commission and the Assembly look forward to working with him and hope he would bring his wealth of experience to bear in the discharge of his new responsibilities.
Hon. Abdullahi Mohammed Dzwafu hopes that the Niger State House of Assembly will witness a lot of improvement in the Assembly.
In his acceptance speech, the newly appointed Clerk of the House, Mall. Farouq Umar Isah thanked the farmer Governor for the appointment, he assured the Chairman and Members of the Assembly Service Commission of the opportunity given to him and pledged to do his best in the discharge of his new assignment.
