Niger People’s Daily Reporter Bags 2024 Print Journalist Award from NGO
People’s Daily Correspondent in Niger state, Comrade Yakubu Mustapha Bina has received 2024 Print Journalist Award from a Non Governmental Organization called Millennium Africa Global Initiative (MAGI)
The National Coordinator of Millennium Africa Global Initiative MAGI, Ambassador Marshall Okoro during the presentation in Minna, described the awardee as most outstanding print media reporter of the year which was done through online nomination and voting.
Comrade Yakubu Mustapha Bina who is also a News Editor with the Prestige FM Radio Minna expressed shock and surprised when he was contacted by the organization of his nomination, saying that this will spour him to do more in his journalism carrier.
Meanwhile, Prestige FM was also given the award of Radio Station of the year,
Radio Journalist of the year goes to Mustapha Nasiru Batsari (Prestige FM Minna) also Radio Program: Tselle Daya (Prestige FM) as well as Investigative Journalist: Nurudeen Isyaku Daza (Prestige FM Minna).
Also under the NGO Media & Journalism Award 2024, Best O.A.P: Hussaina (Ultimate FM), Sports Journalist: Abu Hassan, Zakari Musa Lambata of NSTV as TV journalist of the year while Pamela DOMA. NTA also as TV journalist of the year respectively.
Millennium Africa Global Initiative MAGI, is a Non Governmental Organization that has for 17 years of its existence embarked on various youth and women training skills acquisition over the years in Niger state and also annually organizes Miss Zuma Nigeria, Maaward productivity award, magazine and entertainment with winning prizes.
