Continued silence from the newly constituted excos of ICDA becomes worrisome and shows an abysmal failure on their credibility.

The lack of any clear-cut ideas or programs to steer the affairs of the association has potentials of pulling back the mother body to its former years of redundancy and oblivion. If the Igala race is to compete favourably with other tribes in the comity of national affairs, then it is paramount that we all speak out against this mediocre performance.

The association under the erstwhile leadership of Alh Amodu sadiq Abubakar performed credibly well and demonstrated the capacity needed of any vibrant group.

They left office with legacies visible to even the blind that will outlive any of the erstwhile excos.

in a Press statement signed by Mr Enemali Ogbaje, Concerned igala youth forum in diaspora and made available to Journalists stated that the undeserved manner they were discharged from office without recourse to the rules of engagement as enshrined in the associations by-laws is morally reprehensible.

He who must come to equity must come with clean hands. They must show that they’re worthy of the assignment that comes with the office.
No body hijacks power for the sake of just retaining it.

1. They have not even addressed the kingdom since their swearing in. Or are we not worthy of that?

2. The once booming lgala unity house has been under lock and key since they “assumed office.”

3. Rumour of the locked up Attah’s palace in the past 4 months has not been addressed or attended to.

4. The purported newly sworn in ICDA president can not even speak the language, and I challenge him to publicly address the kingdom and introduce himself and his excos.

The conspiracy of silence from other component groups that makes up the ICDA has to end, and all hands must come on deck to revive this once vibrant and egalitarian association. We must avoid by all means necessary the mistake of yore that left us directionless and comatose.

A stitch in time saves nine, all legitimate sons and daughters that have passion for the growth of the Igala race must speak out against this ineptude and lackadaisical behaviour.

If the recently sworn in exco and their sponsors can not in good conscience make good of hijacking the association, then they should step aside and allow competent hands take over.
