Vigilante Corp members told to collaborates with the police in the state for effective service delivery.
Police in Niger state has been commended for their concerted efforts in raiding and patrolling Limawa A ward in Chanchaga Local Government Area of the state.
The Commendation was made by a cross section of some elders in Limawa A ward while speaking to our crime correspondent in the area.
They said the commendation became necessary considering how the police professionally raided Limawa ward yesterday night.
The respondents stated that the raid led to the arrest of some miscreants who were terrorizing and stealing peoples property in the area .
They said stealing, snatching and robbing people’s of their property became so rampant when the residents of the area have for long not been sleeping with their eyes close due to the babaric attitude of miscreants in Limawa ward.
The respondents said they were particularly impressed with the way and manner the Divisional Police Officer in charge of B Division in minna,Chief Supritendent of Police,Musa Ibrahim is committed towards safeguarding the lives and property of the people.
They said CSP Musa Ibrahim always lead his patrol team to all nooks and crannies of the wards to rid the area of crime and criminality as well as for peace to reign supreme in the local Government.
The respondents however advised other DPO’s in the state to emulate his Good work towards policing their respective local Government Divisional offices for efficient and effective service delivery.
The people of Limawa then.pledged their continued support and cooperation so as to enable the police succeed in the fights against criminals.
Similarly,Men and officers of the Niger state Vigilante Corps have been told to work in collaboration with the police in the state for effective and efficient service delivery.
The State Commander of the Vigilante Corps,Alhaji Nasiru Mohammed Manta made the call while commissioning a unit B office of the Vigilante Corps at Farindoki in paikoro local Government Area of the state.
He said it is by so doing that the desired objectives in the fight against crime and criminality would be achieved.
Alhaji Nasiru Mohammed Manta who spoke through the state Deputy Commander Operations,Abubakar Alfa assured that members of the Vigilante Corps in the state will support and cooperate with the police to rid the state of Armed Banditry, Kidnapping and other criminal tendencies.
Alhaji Manta also charged them to always respect human dignity and exhibit high sense of discipline and professionalism in line of duty.
Speaking at occasion,the Commander of the Unit B command office in Farindoki,Mallam Saminu Ibrahim thanked Alhaji Nasiru Mohammed Manta for commissioning the unit B office of the Corps in the area.
He assured the state commander of the Vigilante Corps that they will ensure the safety of lives and property of the people in the area.
