TRADOC Minna Synergizes with Media for Optimum Results

The Training Doctrine Command (TRADOC), Minna, has reassured the media of a better working relationship while seeking the partnership of media practitioners to ensure effective and efficient service delivery.

The Deputy Director of Army Public Relations at TRADOC Minna, Lieutenant Colonel Uba Sani, gave the assurance during his familiarization visit to the Correspondents’ Chapel of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) office in Minna.

Lieutenant Colonel Sani stated that the media are partners in progress and must be accorded their rightful place to enhance effective communication for the benefit of both parties and society at large.

He maintained that the Nigerian Army, particularly TRADOC, has its mandates, which must be guided constitutionally in the interest of the country, while urging the media to assist in achieving their objectives.

In response, the Chairman of the Correspondents’ Chapel of the Nigeria Union of Journalists, Comrade Yakubu Mustapha Bina, applauded the visit, describing it as a demonstration of competence, ability, and commitment to excel in their assignments.

Comrade Mustapha Bina, who also commended the command, stated that the Nigerian Army has played a critical role in maintaining peace and stability in the country and deserves support in carrying out its activities for the progress of the nation.

He described the visit as historic and memorable but urged TRADOC Command to engage all media organizations to ensure inclusiveness and objectivity in their reportage.

Lieutenant Colonel Uba also presented awards of recognition to the chairman Correspondents’ Chapel and further visited NUJ State council as well as the NAN Bureau Chief in Minna.
