Member Rep. Shiroro,Munya, Rafi Federal Constituency,Hon Ismaila Modibbo, urged to Assist Jindau Community with Borehole .
The Ward Head of Jindau Community in Shiroro Local Government Area of Niger state,Mister Barde Masu made the call while addressing the youths and elders of the Community at a meeting he held with them at his residence.
He said the call became necessary considering the acute water shortage being experienced by the people of his Community.
Mister Barde Masu said the only Borehole in Jindau Community was drilled by the people of the area through a self help project for the past ten years which according to him is not functioning now.
The Ward Head of Jindau Community stated that the people of the area are propelled to trecked for long distance to the river in search of water for their domestic use a situation he described as unfortunate.
Also speaking during the meeting,an elder in the community,Alhaji Bala Machi Jindau equally appealed to the federal Law maker,Alhaji Ismaila Musa Modibbo to Assist by reconstructing the only primary Health Care Center in Jindau Community.
Also in his brief remarks,Alhaji Musa Adamu Jindau also appealed to the political office holders in the Local Government to come to the aid of the Community by providing them with some.social amenities so as to improve their living standard.
The Assistant Secretary of Jindau Community Development Association,Mister Samuel Bazakore Masu stressed the need for Shiroro and Niger state Government to always consider the youth of Jindau,Tuluku,Mutun Daya and Gbase communities in terms of employment opportunities.
Also the Secretary Jindau Community Cooperative Society,Comrade Ibrahim Bala Machi called for the provision of drugs and other hospital consumables to the primary Health Care Center in Jindau if reconstructed and a qualifed Doctor to man the centre.
