The Governorship Aspirant of the All Progressives Congress, APC,Comdr. Yilchini Jan Bida (Rtd.)who contested with Governor Caleb Mutfwang has rejected the outcome of the Thursday election held across the 17 Local Government Area of Plateau State .
in a statement issued by the aspirant ,he urged his supporters to disregard the pronouncement as undemocratic for APC to conduct fraudulent elections.
According to him, his attention was drawn to the declaration made at the All Progressives Congress (APC) State Secretariat, pronouncing my opponent as the winner of the purported Governorship Primary Election allegedly conducted across Plateau State on Thursday, May 21, 2026.
Following extensive consultations with my campaign organization, legal team, agents, and key stakeholders across the 17 Local Government Areas (LGAs) of the State, I state clearly and unequivocally that I reject in totality the declared results and the flawed process from which they emerged.
The entire exercise was an orchestrated sham, characterized by the following grave infractions:
Subversion of Official Process: On election day, our accredited agents arrived at the APC State Secretariat at 7:30 AM. No electoral activity occurred for hours.
Secret Distribution of Materials: We later discovered that the exercise was secretly moved to Crispan Hotel. Election materials were distributed behind closed doors without the knowledge or participation of our agents.
Widespread Non-Event: Across the state, thousands of party faithful and our coordinators waited all day at designated venues. No electoral officials arrived, no accreditation took place, and no voting occurred.
Denial of Franchise: I traveled to my ward in Nemel, Kanke Local Government Area, to cast my vote. I was completely disenfranchised as no materials or officials materialized.
Pre-Fabricated Results: While voters were left stranded in confusion, pre-fabricated results and staged counting videos were already circulating on social media.
Statistical Impossibility: The figures declared are mathematically impossible in a genuine democracy. The data is excessively uniform and mechanically synchronized across different LGAs, bearing the hallmark of a single, poorly manufactured formula rather than actual human votes.
Exclusion from Declaration: In flagrant violation of electoral guidelines, neither I nor any representative of my campaign was invited to or notified of the declaration of results at the Party Secretariat.
As a trained forensic accountant, I must also call urgent attention to the severe lack of integrity in the data and figures being circulated as election results. The announced outcomes show patterns that are excessively uniform, repetitive, and mathematically too perfect to reflect human behavior. Organic democratic data is naturally diverse and uneven, carrying unique regional signatures.
However, these figures behave like a single mathematical formula replicated across multiple locations. Globally recognized principles of statistical analysis, including Benford’s Law, establish that naturally occurring datasets from broad human participation display irregular but authentic numerical patterns. Where figures appear this artificially balanced and synchronized, it indicates a high probability of manipulation and doctoring that demands independent forensic scrutiny.
Our stand is not born out of desperation, but out of a profound commitment to the rule of law, internal party democracy, and the rights of APC members in Plateau State. We must not allow the collective will of our people to be subverted by a desperate few.
The credibility of our great party, the APC, and its internal democracy must not be sacrificed for expediency or predetermined outcomes. APC members deserve a process that is open, transparent, credible, and truly reflective of the wishes of the party’s faithful.
I urgently call on the National Working Committee (NWC) and State leadership of our great party to intervene immediately and investigate the widespread irregularities that have compromised the integrity of the Plateau APC primary elections.
To my teeming supporters across the state: I urge you to remain calm, peaceful, and law-abiding. We are exploring all lawful, constitutional, and democratic avenues to ensure that justice is served and that the true voice of the Plateau people prevails.
History will remember those who stood firmly in defense of truth and justice.
