Kwara Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq Visits Niger State Over Recent Terrorist Attacks
Kwara State Governor and Nigeria Governors Forum Chairman, Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq, has paid a condolence visit to Niger State Governor Mohammed Umaru Bago following recent terrorist incidents in communities within Borgu Emirate.
Governor Abdulrazaq described the attacks as deeply unfortunate and heartbreaking, noting that they have resulted in loss of lives, destruction of livelihoods, and displacement of residents.
He conveyed the sympathies of both the Kwara State government and the Nigeria Governors Forum to the government and people of Niger State, assuring ongoing collaborative efforts with relevant security agencies to address the country’s security challenges.
Governor Bago expressed appreciation for the visit, highlighting the importance of solidarity given the shared border in Borgu Emirate and the common security concerns confronting both states.
