FCT Council Election: I‘ll support only those backing President Tinubu – Wike
Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, has stated he will only support candidates who back President Bola Tinubu’s policies, regardless of their political party, in the FCT Area Councils’ election set for February 21.
Wike made this clear in Abuja on Saturday during Senator Sandy Onor’s 60th birthday celebration, which marked six decades of scholarship, leadership, service, and significant impact.
The Minister, who said he owes no one an apology for supporting Tinubu, assured he will support any candidate who supports the President, no matter their party.
“We have the FCT Area Council election coming up on February 21, and I have a duty to support any candidate who supports President Tinubu to win.
It is also my duty to make sure that any candidate who does not support Tinubu does not win in the election, and I owe no apology for my stance,” Wike said.
