Fatal Bus Accident En Route to Gombe Claims 16 Prospective NYSC Members

A tragic bus accident occurred on Tuesday involving an 18-passenger vehicle transporting prospective NYSC members from Adeyemi Federal University of Education in Ondo State to the NYSC Orientation Camp in Gombe State.
Reports indicate that the bus collided along a northern highway, resulting in the deaths of 16 out of 18 passengers, most of whom were recent graduates.
The remaining two passengers are in critical condition and are receiving emergency medical care. Initial investigations point to the driver losing control of the vehicle as the cause of the collision.
The Federal Road Safety Corps has announced that a thorough investigation into the incident is currently in progress.
