Niger State Governor Mohammed Umaru Bago has pledged to provide tuition-free education to Adiyatu Ayuba Adamu, a talented young girl who recently created and presented a portrait of him.
The presentation took place during a flag-off ceremony for the distribution of 13 horsepower hand-driven power tillers, alongside relief materials and life jackets, organized by the National Hydroelectric Power Producing Areas Development Commission (N-HYPPADEC) in Minna.
Governor Bago expressed admiration for Adiyatu’s artistic dedication and hard work, stating that this initiative aims to encourage her academic journey. In addition to the educational support, the governor also rewarded Adiyatu’s parents with N5 million to recognize their role in nurturing her talents and fostering her creativity.
Furthermore, Abubakar Sadiq Yelwa, the Managing Director of N-HYPPADEC, complemented the governor’s initiative by providing an additional N1 million to Adiyatu in appreciation of her remarkable effort.
This generous support not only highlights the importance of encouraging young talent but also reflects the government’s commitment to fostering education and creativity within the community.
