Organised Labour Leaders Attend Quranic Graduation Walima for Comrade Takuma’s Son in Minna.
The recent Walima ceremony of Mustafa Abubakar Takuma, son of Comrade Abubakar Takuma, Vice Chairman of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) in Niger State, witnessed significant attendance from key figures in the organized labour community.
Representing the Organised Labour leader, Comrade Ambassador Idrees AbdulKareem Lafene, Comrade Maria Musa, Acting Secretary of the NLC, delivered a heartfelt goodwill message.
In her address at the graduation Walima of one of the Islamiya Primary School in Minna, Comrade Musa highlighted the importance of unity and urged the celebrant to apply the knowledge he gained from his Islamic education to become a positive ambassador for Islam.
She also took the opportunity to encourage the Muslim community to pray for peace and stability in Niger State and across Nigeria amidst ongoing security challenges.
In response, Comrade Takuma expressed gratitude on behalf of his family for the unwavering support and solidarity shown by the Organised Labour in Niger State.
He prayed for the continued strength and protection of the Organised Labour, acknowledging its vital role in advocating for the welfare of all its members.
The event was well-attended, with notable figures including Comrade Muhammad Baba, Chairman of Artisan Niger, and various friends and supporters from the labour community.
The gathering underscored the spirit of camaraderie and collective responsibility among labour leaders in the State.
