Minna Engineers Commend Governor Bago’s Timely Intervention on Mokwa Flood, Donate N500,000 to Victims

The Nigerian Society of Engineers, Minna Branch, has praised the Niger State Government for its prompt response to the recent flood disaster in Mokwa.
In a statement signed by the Chairman, Engr. Dr. Mohammed Liman Yerima FNSE, the society commended the government’s swift action in providing relief to the affected communities, describing it as a “timely intervention” that has helped mitigate the impact of the disaster.
As part of its contribution to the relief efforts, the statement indicated that the Nigerian Society of Engineers, Minna Branch, would provide free technical expertise and consultancy services to assist the state government in developing sustainable solutions to the challenges caused by the flood.
Additionally, the chairman announced that the society has donated the sum of N500,000 to support the flood victims.
