Governor Umaru Bago attends Wedding Fatiha of Niger State Chief Judges Son.

Niger State Governor Mohammed Umaru Bago, known for his farming background, was among the many well-wishers who attended the weddings of Mustapha Ibrahim Abdulmalik to Mardiyya Sirajo Dan Alkali, and Bashir Yahaya Abdullahi to Sabila.
The ceremonies were jointly conducted by Imam Farouk Umar, who also serves as the Director-General of the Niger State Bureau for Religious Affairs, at the Jumma’at Mosque in Bosso Estate, immediately following the Jumma’at congregational prayer.
Mustapha Abdulmalik is the son of Niger State Chief Judge Justice Halima and Alhaji Ibrahim Abdulmalik, the former Permanent Secretary for General Services.
Bashir Yahaya Abdullahi is the son of Senator Yahaya Abdullahi Argungu, who represents Kebbi North in the Senate.
The farmer Governor advised the newlyweds to live in peace and to show understanding in their marriage. He also prayed for Allah’s blessings upon them.
Notable dignitaries present at the wedding fatiha included the Governor of Kebbi State, Comrade Nasir Idris; the Deputy Governor of Niger State, Comrade Yakubu Garba; Deputy Senate President Barau Jibrin; Senator Mohammed Sani Musa, who represents Niger East; Minister of Budget and Economic Planning Senator Abubakar Atiku Bagudu; as well as numerous current lawmakers and former Governors.
Accompanied by his Kebbi State counterpart, Governor Bago attended the reception for Bashir and Sabila, where he congratulated the couple and assured them of his ongoing support, praying for Allah to bless their union.
Kebbi State Governor Nasir Idris, in his remarks, advised the couple to be tolerant and to avoid letting third parties interfere in their marriage.
In a related development, Yahaya Ibrahim Abdulmalik, another son of the Niger State Chief Judge, also married Saffiya Isah Dutse in Kano State.
