In a recent visit to Prestige FM Minna, the State Chairman of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Comrade Abu Nmodu, addressed the staff and management following the unfortunate collapse of the station’s aerial mast.
He urged them to view this incident as a temporary setback rather than a defeat. Emphasizing resilience, he described the collapse as a challenge that could be overcome, acknowledging the emotional and financial toll it may take on the station while expressing gratitude that no lives were lost.
Despite the adversities, Comrade Nmodu encouraged the team to leverage new media platforms to continue delivering news and programs online, ensuring they maintain their audience engagement.
The Executive Director of Operations, Alhaji Mahmud Abdullahi, assured the NUJ Chairman that the station would uphold its commitment to service through digital channels.
Alhaji Yusuf Ladan, the Executive Director of Finance and Administration, praised the NUJ for their support during this challenging time.
