The Legislative Arm of the Magama Local Government Council has passed a vote of confidence in the Council Chairman, Hon. Safiyanu Yahaya.
In a statement provided to our correspondent of the Nigeria Daily Post in Minna, and duly signed by the Leader of the House, Hon. Hamza Hussaini Waziri, along with ten councilors and ward chairmen from the Magama local government area, it was announced that, after thorough deliberation, they unanimously agreed to express their support for the current Chairman.
This decision reflects their commitment to his administration and aims to ensure the continuation of his commendable work.
Hon. Hamza Hussaini Waziri dismissed any insinuations that there is a faction not supporting the Chairman’s administration, emphasizing their intention to continue offering support, even beyond his tenure.
He urged those with personal grievances to set aside their differences and rally behind the Chairman to see him through his tenure.
He stated that this is not a time for conflict but rather an opportunity to support one another. He reminded everyone that politics is a numbers game, and every member of a political party is essential to its success.
Moreover, he commended the efforts of Governor Mohammed Umaru Bago and assured that they will continue to support his administration, adding that the Governor’s second term is assured
