Niger Dep Gov attends late uncle’s fidda’u prayers in Kuta

The Deputy Governor of Niger State, Comrade Yakubu was part of sympathizers and family members who attended the three days fidda’u prayers of his late uncle, Alhaji Umar Bala Kuta, the Ɗan Galadiman Kuta.
The fidda’u prayers which took place at the Kuta Central Mosque on Thursday evening was led by the Chief Imam of Kuta, Mallam Hudu Imam
Prayers were offered for the repose of the soul of the Ɗan Galadiman Kuta, and for Allah’s forgiveness on his misdeeds while he was alive.
Similarly, other Ulamas took turns to offer prayers for Allah to grant wisdom and guidance to the Deputy Governor and his principal as they make efforts to reposition Niger state. There were also prayers for the restoration of peace and security across Shiroro local government area, the state and the country at large.
While praying for Allah’s mercy upon the soul of his late uncle, the Deputy Governor also said they were console with the fact that the late Ɗan Galadiman Kuta has lived a fulfilled life worthy of emulation, by touching lives positively through his philantrophic gestures.
Late Alhaji Bala Kuta died on Monday at his residence in Kuta, and had been buried according to Islamic injunction. He was a maternal uncle to the Deputy Governor, and also a younger brother to the late Emir of Minna, Alhaji Ahmadu Bahago.
The deceased is survived by four wives, 22 children,112 grandchildren and many great grandchildren. Among his children is the Accountant of the Niger State Pension Board, who is also the Wakilin Raya Kasar Minna and Ɗan Gatan Wakilin Minna, Alh Suleiman Annu Kuta.
