NOA Advocates for Collective Growth to Foster National Prosperity

From Our Correspondent.

The National Orientation Agency (NOA), on Friday stressed the importance of collective growth in achieving a united and prosperous Nigeria.

Dr Priscilla Gondoaluor, the North Central Zonal Director of the NOA, said this during a visit to the Niger State Directorate of the agency in Minna.

Gondoaluor said collective growth was essential for the development of the country, and urged Nigerians to prioritise this value.

She emphasised the need for Nigerians to internalize the “7 for 7” and 7 initiative, which focuses on the seven responsibilities of the government, the seven obligations of citizens, and the seven institutionalisation policy.

She reminded staff of the agency that these values are the foundation for building a better Nigeria and urged them to integrate them into their daily lives and work.

She encouraged staff to prioritise self-development in Information and Communication Technology (ICT) to enhance productivity and align with global best practices.

Earlier, Mallam Yahaya Gbongbo, expressed gratitude for the zonal director’s visit, highlighting its significance in inspiring staff and strengthening the agency’s mission in the state.

He emphasised that the Niger state directorate was dedicated to implementing the agency’s programmes at the state level, supervising, and monitoring programme implementation by local government offices.

The zonal director also paid courtesy visits to the Chairmen of Chanchaga and Bosso Local Government Areas.

During the visit, Gondoaluor, emphasised the critical role of LGAs in driving national development and implementing value reorientation programmes at the community level.

She reiterated the importance of aligning local government efforts with NOA’s mandate to promote patriotism, national unity, and civic responsibility among Nigerians

She stressed the need for synergy between NOA and local government leadership to ensure the effective dissemination of government policies and programmes.

Gondoaluor encouraged the Chairmen to support initiatives aimed at empowering citizens with the right information and values to contribute meaningfully to nation-building

In their separate remarks, Aminu Ladan and Hajiya Ladidi Bosso, Chairmen of Chanchaga and Bosso, pledged their support for NOA’s programmes and activities, acknowledging the importance of collaboration in addressing local challenges and fostering community development.
