Turbaning Ceremony of the Dagacin Gupa Galle – February 8, 2025.
All arrangements have been finalized for the turbaning ceremony of the Dagacin Gupa Galle, Etsu Isyaku Musa, scheduled for today, February 8, 2025.
The ceremony will take place at the palace of His Royal Highness, the Emir of Lapai, Alhaji Umaru Bago Tafida III, who will also conduct the coronation.
Historically, the Gupa Galle community consists of six villages: Galle, Jeda, Gbaguje, Gurgudu, Matakpa, and Ejengitsa.
According to the coronation committee, a reception will immediately follow at the residence of the newly turbaned Dagaci in his hometown of Gupa Galle, located in the Lapai Local Government Area of Niger State.
Members of the community and the general public are invited to be part of this historic event and experience the community’s hospitality by attending the ceremony as scheduled.
