Niger Deputy Governor Attends Maikunkele Elders’ Forum End-of-the-Year Programme

The Deputy Governor of Niger State, Comrade Yakubu Garba, attended the end-of-the-year program organized by the Maikunkele Elders’ Forum.
This annual event brings together the sons and daughters of the Maikunkele district to express gratitude to God for their numerous achievements throughout the year.
In his speech at the event, the Deputy Governor highlighted Maikunkele as a stronghold that has significantly contributed to his success.
He reflected on his humble beginnings and how the Maikunkele community has profoundly influenced his perspective on life and humanity.
The Deputy Governor urged leaders at all levels to act as ambassadors of peace, progress, and development.
He also called on community leaders to support the “New Niger” agenda of Governor farmer Mohammed Umar Bago.
Additionally, the District Head of Maikunkele and civil servants, academics, women, and youth reaffirmed their commitment to support the present administration.
They expressed their appreciation to the Deputy Governor for consistently engaging with the ordinary members of society.
