Niger State Govt to Remodel General Hospital & School of Health Technology in Tungan Magajiya, Rijau LGA at N10B
The Niger State Government is set to spend N10 billion on remodeling the General Hospital and the School of Health Technology in Tungan Magajiya, Rijau Local Government Area. During his facility visit, Farmer Governor Mohammed Umaru Bago announced this as part of his statewide project monitoring tour.
He emphasized that both structures will have state-of-the-art facilities to enhance service delivery once remodeled. Acknowledging the historical significance of these institutions, Governor Bago promised to continue supporting them.
During his visit, the Farmer Governor also addressed community members at the Palace of the Sarkin Bauchi of Rijau, Alh. Sanusi Muhammad Kuki. He informed them that the State Government plans to reopen the Vocational School and a financial institution in Rijau.
Additionally, he announced that the ongoing Kontagora-Rijau road construction would be extended to Zuru and reassured residents that the 5 km township road project would be completed.
The Sarkin Bauchi of Rijau, Alh. Sanusi Muhammad Kuki; the Member representing Rijau/Magama Federal Constituency, Shehu Sale; and the Chairman of Rijau Local Government Council, Danladi Kwambo, all praised Governor Bago for his commitment to the community and commended him for the ongoing road projects in Rijau and across the State.
In recognition of his dedication, Tarkin Bauchi bestowed the title of Jarman Rijau on Governor Bago.
Earlier, Governor Bago inspected the ongoing Rijau-Kontagora road project and the proposed six-span bridge at Luoji, expressing satisfaction with the quality of work completed.
He also visited the Gulbin Boka and Kwuimo communities in the Rijau Local Government Area, assuring residents of his administration’s commitment to providing essential social amenities.
