Gwada Youth Forum expresses concern over incessant attacks by bandits/ISWAP in Shiroro LGA.
Gwada youth forum GYF has expressed deep concern and worry over the alarming rate of incessant attacks by Bandits and ISWAP in Lakpma axis in Shiroro Local Government Area of Niger state.
The President of Gwada Youth Forum,Mallam Muazu Isah Gwada made this expression in a statement made available to our staff reporter.
He said the attacks always led to the killings of people, cattle rustling, kidnapping, and demand for ransoms by bandits and ISWAPs in this axis,other affected Local Government Areas in the state and neighbouring states in Nigeria.
Mallam Muazu Isah Gwada onbehaf of the entire members of the Forum condemned in totality these heinous acts and demand immediate action from the government, security agencies, and collective efforts from all stakeholders to address this menace.
The President of Gwada Youth Forum noted that while they recognized and commended the state government for its efforts in addressing the menace said more still need to be done to safeguard the lives and property of the people in the state.
Mallam Muazu Isah Gwada called for Increased security presence, surveillance in the affected areas,
Intelligence gathering and strategic operations to dismantle bandit camps and ISWAP strongholds.
The President of GYF also appealed for the Support of the victims families and communities affected by these atrocities and dastardly act by the Bandits.
Similarly,the President of Gwada Youth Forum GYF has called for Collaboration between security agencies, local vigilantes, and community leaders in the fight against Armed Banditry and kidnapping in the state.
Mallam Muazu Isah Gwada stated this while speaking in an interview with our staff reporter.
He said greater synergy as well as sharing intelligence and coordinated efforts between them would go along way to achieve the set objectives.
Mallam Muazu Isah Gwada noted that Government initiatives to address poverty, unemployment, and social vices inequality are highly commendable and called on the state Government not to relent.
The President of GYF also appealed to the people of the affected local Government areas to cooperate and support with security operatives towards nipping insecurity at bud.
Mallam Isah Gwada onbehalf of the entire members of the Forum urged all stakeholders to join forces and work tirelessly to restore peace, security, and stability in our communities.
