Sen.Sani (313) distributes 4050 bags of assorted fertilizer to farmers to boost agriculture.

Sen.Sani (313) distributes 4050 bags of assorted fertilizer to farmers to boost agriculture.

The Senator Representing Niger East Senatorial District of Niger state at the National Assembly, Senator Mohammed Sani Musa (313) has distributed over 4,050 bags of assorted fertilizers free to farmers in his constituency.

 

Senator Sani Musa while flagging off the free distribution of fertilizer for 2024 farming season across 9 local councils of Niger East Senatorial District of (Zone B) in Niger state,assured to be fair and just in the distribution of the commodity irespective of party affiliation and other sentiment so as to ensure that every farmer in his constituency benefit from the gesture through their various coordinators headed by the Council Chairman .

The Senator,who was Represented by the Deputy Speaker,Niger State House of Assembly,Mrs.Afiniki Eunice Dauda representing Gurara constituency, noted that each local government area will get 450 bags, consisting of Urea and NPK.

 

The Special Adviser Political Affairs to farmer governor Umaru Bago,Hon.Mohammed Nma Kolo said the gesture from Senator Sani Musa (313)was in fulfillment of the All Progressives Congress APC campaign promises to the electorates, and assures the them of more dividends of democracy, he urged other elected officials and political office holders to emulate the gesture  so as to achieve land mark development.

Hon Mohammed Nma Kolo also reiterated the commitment of Senator Sani Musa ( 313 ) in ensuring that peace and stability returns to his constituency especially the three mostly affected local government area by insecurity,namely Shiroro, Munya and Rafi.

Speaking on behalf of the local government Chairmen present at the flag off ceremony from the zone,the Chairman Rafi local government area, Alhaji Ayuba Usman Katako appreciated the gesture of the Senator, and assured of their support and fair distribution of the fertilizers to the beneficiaries.

Usman Katako advised farmers to make proper use of the fertilizer to boost agricultural activities,and also warned the officials responsible for the distribution against diversion of the commodity.

Earlier, the Chairman Advisory Committee to the Senator,Alhaji Baba-Sule Bissala re-assured that every stakeholders from the 9 local government area will benefit through their local councils coordinators for onward distribution to the electorates.

He also promised of more dividends of democracy, adding that presently  Senator Sani Musa had embarked on massive construction of primary health care centers as well as some key projects that would uplift the living condition of the electorates across the 9 local government area of his constituency.

The local government areas that benefited from the assorted fertilizers distributed consists of 3,050 bags of NPK, and 1,000 bags of UREA are Bosso, Chanchaga, Gurara, Rafi, Munya, Shiroro, Suleja, Tafa and Paikoro.
