RCCG Senior Pastor urges Christian to use Easter Period to Propagates His Gospel.

The senior pastor of Redeemed Christian church of God(RCCG) in Minna ,Niger state capital,pastor Enoch olayeye has urged Christian faithfuls in the country not to see Easter festival as an avenue for drinking,eating and going out to relaxation centres as a yardstick and purpose for the celebrations but a period of sober reflection.
The clergy gave this advice while speaking on the significance of Good friday being observed by Christians annually in an interview with Nigeria Daily post at his business office in Kpankugu minna on friday.
Pastor olayeye who is a National officer of RCCG urged the Christians all over the world further to rather use the occasion of Easter to go out and propagate the gospel of jesus Christ in order to win souls into his kingdom and desist from act of merry making of engaging themselves in all manner of drinking thinking that such is what celebrations of Easter is all about.
He said the significance of goodfriday cannot be overemphaised saying that Christians have every reason to celebrate the day as it was a day Jesus christ died to set man free from bondage of multiple of sins while in prison for so many years before he was hanged on the cross and crucified for the salvation of man kind.
The senior pastor of RCCG while describing the death of Jesus Christ as key to salvation of mankind however told Nigeria Daily post that his death only affect people who believe in him and that salvation of man cannot be complete without his death,hence the need for Christian faithfuls to go out and preach his message of gospel to the people on the occasion of Easter so as to depopulate the kingdom of darkness.
The clergy who bares his mind on the state of insecurity confronting the country at all levels however called on the leaders in power and all Nigerians to place more interest in serving the masses instead of personal interest,adding that they should deviate from their action of loving money than human development which he said was the brain behind all the insecurity bedeviling the Nation witnessed over the years.
According to him,for the nation to over come the on going challenges of the insecurity ranging from banditry,kidnapping ,incessant killings both the leaders and entire Nigerians should return to God and embrace love of one and other and shunned too much love of money which he said is the root of all evils.
