Niger state govt. advised to adhere to April dateline for the payment of Pensioners gratuity.

Niger State Government will commence payment of gratiuty to retired civil servants as from next month.
The chairman jiont action committee on pensioer, Comrade Daniel Zitta disclosed this while addressing pensioners at jiont meeting of both Senior and junior pensioners in Minna today.
Comrade Daniel Zitta said the government in collaboration with state pension board is working vegoruoly to ensure smooth take up of payment excerise.
He said the current automative data caputuring exercise introduce by the state government is to checkmate and fight corruption in the pension board.
Comrade Zitta noted with dismay the level at which some retired pensioners that died more than ten years ago names are still in the pension pay roll.
Accordind to him,the exercise has also led to the discovery of pensioners that have collected multiple pension in state and local government areas.
He then called for more support from pensioners to the government and then commended the management of the board for introducing the need database for the retirees in the state.
