NSCDC NEW STATE COMMANDER CHARGES OFFICERS ON PROTECTION OF CRITICAL NATIONAL ASSET IN NIGER.
Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps NSCDC, Niger State Command, has received new State Commander CC Joachin Okafor FCAI, in a low key ceremony held at the state Command headquarters ,Tunga Minna.
In a Press release made available to Newsmen by the Command Public Relations Officer,SC Nasiru D Abdullahii said Commander Okafor assumed duty as the number 16 Substantive State Commandant of Niger Command following recent Nationwide redeployment by the leadership of the Corps at the centre under the leadership of the Commandant General Ahmed Abubakar Audi.
The new Commander J. Okafor who takes over from EE Willie who was subsquently deployed to Ebonyi State,hails from Anambra State and holds a Master’s degree in Public Administration from Ambrose Ali University, Ekpoma, Edo State.
In his meiden address, Commander Okafor charged Officers and Men of the Command to live-up to their responsibilities in ensuring adequate protection of Critical National asset and infrastructure.
He then appealed to the General public in the state to assist the Corps with useful informations on vandalization activities adding that the Corps under his watch will ensure proper and adequate protection of all public infrastructure in the state.
The new Commander Okafor Until his new posting to Niger State Command,was the Commandant Monitoring Zone “N” headquarters Kano.
