NECO Introduces Award to encourages excellence among Staff and Students.

The Registra /Chief Executive of National Examination Council (NECO), Professor Dantani Ibrahim Wushishi has Institute an award to encourage the culture of excellence, through a healthy competition among staff and students.
Professor Dantani stated this while delivering a speech at the maiden edition of the Annual productivity Award, ceremony to celebrates candidates who have excelled in each of the examinations conducted by the council, yesterday in Minna.
He said the award will serve as a motivating factor and a morale booster to the staff and students, which according to him will inspire to a drive towards greatness and self -improvement.
Professor Dantani stressed that the overall aim of introducing the award is to enhance the quality and effectiveness of the services being rendered by the council.
According to him the first edition features awardees for 2022 and 2023 under the following categories, good Governance Award, Best state coordinator of the year award, most hardworking and dedicated staff of the year in each department, state and zonal offices Award , Best driver Award, Best performing students male and females, and certificate of service to Retirees 2022 and 2023.
He then commended the management whose wise counsel and robust deliberations and support they made that led to the Award ceremony and prayed that God rewards them abundantly.
In separate interview with Ordinary Ahmed Isah of Brekete radio and television, at the venue, he urged federal government to include the National Examination council NECO in the monthly subvention as been enjoyed by other examination bodies in the country.
According to him, despite that NECO generates money, to organize examination and logistic involve a lot of money adding,most especially now that their certificates is recognized all over the world, hence federal government to include them in monthly subvention to enable them boost their activities Nation wide.
Ordinary Ahmed added that “with what he have seen and the number of capital projects been embarked upon,suppossed there is a level playing ground NECO would have done better than what is presently doing’,and commended , The Registrar Professor Dantani for a job well done.
