Niger State Governor condoles with Kaduna State Govt. over Bomb explosions.
Niger State Governor, Mohammed Umaru Bago has sympathized with his Kaduna State counterpart, Senator Uba Sani and all the people of the State over the unintentional bomb explosions that led to the death of many people.
Governor Umaru Bago in a statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Bologi Ibrahim, described the tragedy as unfortunate.
According to him, “I am deeply saddened by this unfortunate and unpleasant accident. I, on behalf of all the people of Niger State, share in your moment of grief, may Allah comfort you all and grant the departed souls Aljannah Firdausi.”
He also prayed for the quick recovery of those injured.
The Governor then appealed to relevant authorities to carry out a proper investigation to avert reoccurrence while calling on the security agencies not to be dampened by the incident but to remain steadfast in their fight against all forms of criminalities in the country.
A tragic incident was said to have occurred recently in Kaduna when some Muslim Ummah were celebrating Maulud and they were unintentionally harmed by a military drone targeting terrorists and bandits in the area, an incident that resulted in many deaths and some injuries.
