Gov Bago in Saudi Arabia as part of Fed Govt delegations on the first SAUDI – AFRICA summit.

Niger State Governor Mohammed Umaru Bago is in Saudi Arabia as part of the Presidential delegation for the maiden edition of the Saudi-Africa Summit held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
Governor Umaru Bago intends to use the opportunity to among other things try and woo investors to Niger State in line with his vision of transforming the State and driving towards the “NEW NIGER ” initiative.
The Chief Press Secretary.to the Governor, Bologi Ibrahim in a statement said the Governor will equally push for the Green economy plans he has on the ground for the State and he will engage critical stakeholders as one of the key areas to be addressed at the Summit.
Governor Bago is among the delegation headed by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu which also has the Minister of Foreign Affairs Ambassador Yusuf Tuggar, Minister of Education, Professor Tahir Mamman and the coordinating Minister of Economy and Finance, Wale Edun.
Also on the list are National Security Adviser Nuhu Ribadu, Director General, of Nigeria Intelligence Agency, Ambassador Ahmed Rufai and the Chairman of Nigeria Hajj Commission, Malam Jalal Arabi.
