Security Operatives engaged suspected Terrorist resident catches Arms in Minna.
The operatives of Department of State Service (DSS), Niger State Command in the early hour Tuesday stormed Kulobe Community in Gbeganu area of Minna the Niger state capital and evacuated some heavy duty guns from a building.
The operatives of the secret security were said to have received credible Information on the activities of a suspected terrorist residing in the community for some time without knowing his source of livelihood in the Community.
He was said to have used a rocket launcher to bring down part of his fence of his house which he disappeared to the thin air but it was gathered that his wife and his children were taken to Custody by the security operatives.
Nigeria Daily Post gathered that the terrorist started firing his gun from all directions when he noticed unusual movements in the area until he noticed that it was the security operatives that arrive to carry out an operation in the area.
A source closed to the security confided to this reporter that not fewer than 130 AK47 ruffles and assorted guns, Six bags containing large numbers of lives amunitions ,explosive Rockets launchers and Air- Craft ruffles were evacuated from his house
Some of the residents of the community told Newsline that they were yet to recover from the shocking fear of the incident ” in our community yesterday night. The heavy sound of the guns between the terrorist and the security operatives were too heavy, some of my electronics and furnitures were destroyed
A visit to the community by our Correspondent on Tuesday morning, doors, roof sheets, walls, and windows of neighbours were destroyed with bullets while parts of some building were brought down by the magnitude of the guns.
Nigeria Daily Post reliably gathered that the terrorist who is an indegen of Central part of KogiI state an Igbira Okene by tribe bought the house he was habiting two years ago and he has been residing in the house without relating with neighbors.
It was gathered that the suspected terrorist was said to noticed unusual movements within his house and started shooting indiscriminately as a result of a stray bullet hit a night watchman in the area who is currently receiving treatment in IBB Specialist Hospital in Minna.
