Niger State Govt.to boast Agricultural sector through improved synergy with relevant stakeholders.
Niger State Governor, Mohammed Umaru Bago has expressed willingness to partner with relevant organisations and entities to harness the State’s potential in the agricultural sector and its value chain.
Governor Umaru Bago disclosed this in Kano State when he met with Alhaji Isah Mohammed Gerawa, the promoter of Gerawa Group of Companies, owners of the biggest Oil Milling Plant in West Africa; biggest Rice Mill in Nigeria; and one of the biggest indigenous construction Companies in Nigeria.
The Governor who was accompanied by his Jigawa State counterpart, Mallam Umar Namadi inspected various facilities owned by the Gerawa Group of Companies including the Oil Mill, extensive Rice Mill, and the advanced Crusher and Asphalt plant sites.
The Governor later paid a courtesy visit to the Governor of Kano State, Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf where they discussed vital developmental issues.
