Niger Beer Vendors warned to abide by the liquor lincensing Board law or be Prosecuted .
The Niger state Liquor lincensing Board have concluded arrangement to destroy ceized alcohol worth over twenty million naira N 20 M in Suleja town of Niger state.
The Secretary of the Board,Mallam Ibrahim Muhammad Bonu disclosed this in an interview with Journalists in his office recently,he disclosed that the confiscated alcoholic drinks marked for destruction were seized as a result of violation of liquor prohibition,sales and consumption law of Niger State.
He appeal to liquor vendors in the state to always adhere strictly to the rule and regulations of operation of liquor sales adding that any vendors cought violating liquor law or using under age for their business shall have their premises cealed.
He further advice them to always abide by the time of operation and closing hours as stipulated in the bye law of Niger state Liquor lincensing Board or shall be sent out of the business and equally prosecuted.
The Secretary Mallam Ibrahim Bonu further warm staff of the Board to discharge their duties in accordance with the liquor laws and any person found wanting in the discharge of his or her duty or found conieving with any vendor not to follow due process as enshrined in liquor law shall be made to face the full wrath of the law,he warned.
