The Niger State APC gubernatorial candidate, Hon. Mohammed Umaru Bago has said for the sake of peace, progress, and equity power must shift to the South.

Bago said this today, at the palace of the Emir of Kagara, in Rafi Local Government of the state where he commenced his campaign tour of Niger East senatorial district (Zone B), while, seeking the blessing of the Royal Father, HRH. Ahmed Garba Attairu Gunna.
He said, “APC is the only party we know and just like in Niger State where power rotates among the three senatorial zones of the state, there is a need to be fair to all and abide by the mutual agreement, even if it is not a written one, I, therefore call on Nigerlites to vote for Tinubu and all APC candidates”.
He then declared that he was not unaware of the challenges being faced by the good people Rafi local government area, ranging from insecurity to infrastructural deficit and others, assuring them of providing solutions to the challenges, if elected.
In his response, the Emir of Kagara, HRH. Alhaji Ahmed Garba Attairu Gunna, reminded the politicians to play by rules, adding that they must believe that only Allah gives power to whom He wishes at any time.
He then expressed gratitude to Almighty Allah for returning peace to his emirate, saying that sometimes back, it would have been difficult for the entourage to come and campaign in the area.
