Kebbi APC gubernatorial candidate restate appeal for people to collect their PVCs and Vote APC in Zuru Emirates From Ahmed Idris

Kebbi APC gubernatorial candidate restate appeal for people to collect their PVCs and Vote APC in Zuru Emirates

No fewer than 22 days left to the General election yesterday the Kebbi state All Progressive Congress (APC) Gubernatorial candidate, Dr Nasir Idris Kauran Gwandu has once again appealed to people in Fakai, Zuru and Danko wasagu Local Governments Areas to collect their PVCs and vote for APC.

Kauran Gwandu made the appeal amid hundreds of APC supporters in Mahuta, capital of Fakai, Zuru and Danko Wasag Local Government Area respectively in continuation of the State wide campaign rally of the party to the zone.

He said that the people could only vote Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, himself and other candidates of the party with their PVCs.

 

‘ We are here to see you and thank you and solicit your support for APC.

‘ Please make sure you collect your PVC, keep it safely , the way you keep your money, please make sure you vote for APC during the elections,” he averred.

The APC governorship candidate, Dr Nasiru Idris, Kauran Gwandu promised more dividends of democracy to the people of Fakai Local Government, if elected during as their next governor.

Kauran Gwandu pledged to deliver meaningful projects in Fakai and the entire Zuru Emirate , empower women and youths to be self reliant by providing financial grants to assist them engage in various businesses.

He also said if elected into office as the next governor of Kebbi State, the issue of security would receive his priority attention so that people in the area could continue with their livelihood in peace.

 

Earlier, Alhaji Shehu Muazu, an official of the Rice Farmers Association of Nigeria and a large scale farmer in the area in his remarks frowned at the plan by the opposition PDP to reopen borders.

He said such a move would derail the success recorded by the farmers in increased food production, food security and stop the influx of foreign rice into Nigeria’s markets .

”As a farmer , I know it is not in the best interest to reopen our borders, I am sure you will all bear witness to how our local farmers benefited in the Anchor Borrowers Programme of APC .

‘ People of Fakai are big time farmers, There is increased food production and wealth to our farmers, if we allow our borders to be opened, we will go back to square one.” he opined.

He urged the people to vote for all APC candidates and ensure its victory at the polls.

The DG campaign Council of the party, former Governor of Kebbi State, Alhaji Saidu Nasamu Dakingari, in company of the State party Chairman, Alhaji Abubakar Muhammad Kana Zuru presented the party’s gubernatorial candidate, Dr Nasir Idris Kauran Gwandu, his running mate ,Senator Umar Abubakar Tafida and the other APC candidates of the area to the people.

Dakingari assured hundreds of party supporters at the venue that APC’s candidate would deliver and bring meaningful development to them.

Earlier, the APC campaign team was at Kangi ward where they were received by hundreds of party supporters in solidarity with the party.

The community at Kangi appealed to the State Government to renovate the existing bridge at Kangi, renovate the road leading to the town, provide solar powered water system,construct dispensary at Jagala and Asarara, renovate their Jumuat Mosque and construct a primary school at Gobiraje.

Rtd Major General Muhammadu Magoro, an elder of the party called on people to collect their PVCs and vote for Kauran Gwandu and all APC candidates.

The Chairman of Fakai Local Government Area, Hon. Umar Magaji announced that Governor Abubakar Atiku Bagudu has approved the renovation of the Kangi bridge, the mosque and other needs of the community.

In Mahuta , the team started with a courtesy visit to the Chief of Fakai, Alhaji Hudu Dan Malan followed by district Heads, Marafan Fakai, Alhaji Ladan Abubakar and Sarkin Marafa where the DG campaign Council, Alhaji Saidu Nasamu Dakingari, Senator Muhammadu Magoro and APC gubernatorial candidate Dr Nasir Idris, Kauran Gwandu appealed for support and fatherly blessing to all APC candidates.

The APC flagbearer told the royal father that he would consolidate the colossal achievements of his mentor and incumbent Governor of the state, Senator Abubakar Atiku Gwandu.

He said:”The people of Fakai have been very loyal and extremely supportive to the current administration in the state and this is really very commendable.

“By the special grace of the Almighty Allah, I will follow he footsteps of our active and most indefatigable Governor, if I am elected come next month.

The District Head, Alhaji Hudu Dan Malan assured them of his support and the people of the area.

He thanked Governor Abubakar Atiku Bagudu, CON for his untiring effort to improve the security of the area and relief assistance to IDPS in the area.

The campaign team also visited Marafa and Matseri to solicit for support for the party.

Prominent personalities among the entourage include, Rtd Major General Muhammadu Magoro, an elder of the party, Alhaji Sani Hukuma Zauro, Chairman, APC Elders Forum, Alhaji Abubakar Gari Malam, Alhaji AI Suru, Alhaji Ibrahim Bagudu, Engr. Faruk Muslim, Alhaji Musa Yaro, Enabo ,Hon. Abdullahi Muhammad Magoro, Commissioner of Information, Hon Sadiq Saad Fakai, National Coordinator of ANIM, Alhaji Kabiru Sani Giant among others .
