BAGO DONATES 7 MILLION TO GONAGI COMMUNITY IN EDATI LGA WITH A PROMISE TO ATTEND TO THEIR CHALLENGES IF ELECTED.
Hon. Mohammed Umaru Bago, the Niger State gubernatorial candidate of the All Progressives Congress ( APC)
has taken a swipe at the gubernatorial candidate of one of the opposition parties for creating the impression that he has taken care of his domain before extending the hand of help to his neighbor.
. Bago threw the Hints at the opposition candidate today, at Gonagi ward of Edati Local Government Area of the State where his campaign train landed.
He expressed dismay over the level of dilapidation of roads and failed bridges in the Local Government Area, wondering how someone would help others when he has not been able to himself! .
Umar Bago said” I heard someone from this community has tarred your roads and so I thought we were going to have a smooth ride on Dunlop road to this place. I saw failed bridges and even the reconstructed ones, which I was told were done by Sen. Bima Enagi. So, what is the rationale behind going to Bida to reconstruct a failed bridge there when your immediate community needs it most?”.
“Some youth accosted me on the road and requested for scholarship and I am also surprised that this same person promising qualitative education has not come to your aid.
I see some of your challenges and I assure you that we shall try our best to bring meaningful development to your local government when elected.
I also request you to put us in your prayers for us to succeed”, Bago declared, as he made a cash donation of seven million Naira (N7M) to the people of Gonagi ward.
Earlier, the Deputy Governor of Niger State, Alh. Ahmed Mohammed Ketso told the mammoth crowd at the venue, five reasons why the people of Edati Local Government Area needed to vote for Bago including the fact that he is their son-in-law, he is healthy and religious, as well as a youth that keeps to his promise, and he is also from a respectable family.
As he pleaded with them to return all APC candidates from top to bottom, for peace, progress, and overall development of our state.
