Over 5,000 women ready to vote APC in Kebbi.

No fewer than 5,000 women from different parts of the State have said that with their PVC they are ready to give All Progressive Congress (APC) thousands votes in the State.
This was disclosed yesterday at the women wing Governorship campaign flag off in Arugungu Local Government area of the state.
The leaders of the movement and the wife of the Kebbi State Governor Dr. Zainab Bagudu Shankafi said that the women in Kebbi State are ready to give APC over thousands Vote in order to ensure the success.
She commended the party leadership for streamline the party campaign movement in the state, assured her own committement towards mobilizing women.
“You can see the number of women in this stadium, different tribes and religion are all hear’ she said.
Wife of who mobilized women from the 21 local government areas of the state to canvass votes for APC presidential candidate, Bola Ahmed Tinubu/Shetima and the Governorship Candidate of the party in the state, Dr Nasiru Idris, said the APC deserve women support and votes in the next month elections because it has done so much for them at the state and national levels.
She said “I enjoined you to come out in large numbers and vote APC government from top to bottom. Let APC continue with it’s good work. The APC governments across the country has done well for women in the country.
“We must vote APC to return it’s candidates to Power so that we can continue to enjoy dividend of democracy. I enjoin all women in kebbi State to support APC and vote it’s presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu/Shetima and Governorship Candidate Nasiru Idris in next month elections”.
Dr Zainab added that the president Muhammadu Buhari’s administration has demonstrated it’s support for women across the country through it’s various empowerment programs for women.
“No administration has included women in the running of affairs of the state and country like the Buhari and Bagudu’s APC administrations. Many women are given different appointments..We need to support APC administration to return to power.”
She said the outgoing administration of Bagudu has fulfilled it’s promises to women in the state. She urged them to support the governorship candidate of the party to continue with the good work of APC government for women.
In her address,the Director General Campaign women wing of APC in the state Hajiya Zara Bawa said let them not lie to you Bagudu administration has administration has helped women in many ways.If you elect Nasiru Idris he will continue with Bagudu’s good work for women”.
Wife of the APC Governorship Candidate Hajiya Nasare Idris also appealed to women in the state to extend the support they gave to Bagudu to her husband to win the governorship election. “Let him continue from where Bagudu stopped”, she said.
Hajiya Nasara Nasiru thank the women for supporting APC in the state, assured them that if her husband is elected women will be part of the government.
Earlier, the Kebbi State APC campaign Director General and the former Kebbi State Governor Alhaji Saidu Usman Dakingari assured the women of gender balance.
He urge them to ingnore any opposition that came to them and campaign as they don’t have any thing to offer, “APC government has empower Youth and women in the state’ he said.
Also Speaking, the Kebbi State Governor Senator Atiku Abubakar Bagudu thank the women for coming together and support APC in the state, promising them sense of belonging in the party if they have been returned back to power.
In his remarks, the APC Governorship candidate Dr Nasiru Idris Kaura Gwandu also assured them of make an inclusive Government if elected into the power.
He thank the wife of the Kebbi State Governor for rally round and support the movement.
